There was war of an aggressor and indigenous people.
Although indigenous people were small number, they won.
Around A.D. 800
The aggressor won indigenous people at last.
Indigenous people emigrated to north.
They appear as “Oni” in “old tale.”
“Oni” is an image of a “bad fellow.”
“Oni” is exterminated in an “old tale.”
They were be persecuted from aggressor.
They are called “Ainu.”
1997, the following laws were enacted.
Act on the Promotion of Ainu Culture, and Dissemination and Enlightenment of Knowledge about Ainu Tradition, etc.
Now, there are 200,000 persons of “Ainu” in Japan.
They still worship God of the nature.
