Marine archaeologists say they have uncovered a wreck from one of Kublai Khan’s 13th century Mongol invasion fleets just yards off the coast of Japan.

13th century, it was national crisis in Japan.
At that time, “Mongol Empire” enlarged the power in the Eurasian Continent.
They tried to dominate Japan.

1274, 35,000 soldiers of Mongol Empire attacked to Japan by ship.
The soldier of Mongol Empire used a weapon of the gunpowder and a high-performance bow.
Japan fought by a guerilla war.
In this situation it was thought that Japan lost.
The storm was coming.
The Mongolian came back in a ship for fear of a Japanese night attack.
And it was a storm.
Most ships of the Mongolian sank.
Japan was helped for a storm.

But the crisis true afterwards.
The King of Mongol Empire dispatched a messenger to rule over Japan.
Japan refuses it.
All temples in Japan prayed for victory of Japan.

Mongol Empire attacked to Japan again.
June, 1281, a terrible battle was developed on the sea.
The main ship of the Mongolian was behind with arrival for one month.
July, 1281, the main ship of the Mongolian military arrived.
The total of the Mongolian military was recorded with 4,500 ships, 140,000 soldiers.

July 30, 1281, strong storm came.
It was a terrible rainstorm.
After a storm went away, there was not the ship of the Mongolian military.
Japan was helped for a storm again.

Afterwards, When Japan fell into a crisis, “divine wind” blows if pray to God, and it was believed that saved Japan.
The thought was believed until about 70 years ago.
And Japan loses a battle.

“Divine Wind” is called “Jinpu” or “Kamikaze” in Japanese.
