12. High School Baseball championship

Today, I write about “High School Baseball championship”.
Now, the 94th national high school baseball championship has begun.
Most of Japanese enjoy this championship like the Olympics.
Only the team which won in the qualifier in 47 areas participates in this.
All of them shorten hair and to make a polite bow and play a game.
The temperature of the stadium will be more than 35 degrees Celsius.
It is like “ascetic practice”.
They believe victory and do one’s best.
They sometimes cause a miracle.
1979, Minoshima High School vs. Seiryo High School.
Extra 16 innings,
Seiryo High School gets one point and becomes 3-2.
Minoshima High School , two down in the bottom of the 16th.
The batter hit a fly to first.
Everybody thought that Minoshima High School lost.
The first baseman fell down and game was not over.
The batter hits a home run and becomes 3-3.
Extra 18 innings,
Minoshima High School gets one point and becomes 4-3.
Minoshima High School won.

The later life of the hero who hit a home run.
He was promising as a baseball player.
After this game, He comes to think ” I want to hit a home run.”
He didn’t have good results.
He did not succeed as a baseball player.

The later life of the first baseman who did an error.
He is criticized.
He changes work several times.
He was discouraged.
He is given the following poetry by the manager of winner.

There is the rock, too, and there is the root of the tree, too.
There is the fly ball to the first base, too.
However, Even if there is such an obstacle, the water flows simply.

He recovered.
He became baseball manager of Little League.

They play the friendly game every ten years.
